On October 19, 2025, Lech Kołaszewski passed away.

With deep sorrow, we say goodbye to Lech Kołaszewski – the founder of our company, a visionary, and a man who taught us that quality and reliability are not slogans, but a daily commitment.

It all began in 1974, in a small metal workshop, with one decision: to rely solely on solid craftsmanship and responsibility for every part delivered to the customer. Over time, that small workshop grew into a company that not only supplied components for agricultural machinery but also set new engineering standards – from front loader and telehandler attachments, to municipal solutions, to specialized equipment for forestry and wood handling. We developed through consistent investment in technology, a modern machine park, and our own proprietary design solutions.

Mr. Lech designed machines himself – excellently engineered and precisely built. He cared about every detail, and his practical, well-thought-out solutions became our hallmark. After fifty years of building this legacy – and five years under the FK Machinery brand – our products are now working not only across Poland but throughout Europe, the USA, and New Zealand. What has remained unchanged is the principle he passed on to us: if you do something, do it thoroughly.

He was a mentor to us – demanding, yet fair. A humane employer who supported the team not only financially but, above all, with his understanding and kindness. He taught us humility toward the material, respect for the customer, and pride in well-done work. He left behind a company with a strong team, solid foundations, and a clear direction for continued growth.

Beyond the company, Mr. Lech was a man of great heart. He selflessly supported children from orphanages, was involved in helping animals kept in poor conditions, and always responded where help was needed. He believed that the responsibility of business begins with its closest surroundings – a value we will continue to uphold.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

The funeral ceremony will take place this Thursday (October 23, 2025) at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of St. Philip Neri in Bytów. We invite all who wish to join us in paying their final respects to Mr. Lech.
